March 14 is White Day in Japan – it is customary for guys to gift chocolates to girls from whom they had received chocolates on Valentine’s Day a month before. At Splatoon’s Squid Research Lab, the male researchers got together to make some squid cookies, but they didn’t turn out quite as expected…

Seeing their male counterparts’ complete failure, the girls at the lab got together and made a super kawaii guide for them to challenge those squid cookies again…if they’re brave enough.

The instructions are simple even for those who do not speak Squid Language (or Japanese):
1. Mix sugar, egg, flour, almond powder and butter. (Though the proportions were not specified..!)
2. Color the dough with purple sweet potato, pumpkin, chocolate and dark chocolate.
3. Shape into squid following the pictures as shown. (click on the pictures to expand)

・材料の混ぜすぎ（サクサク感が無くなる）
・オーブンの予熱が不十分（溶けてしまう）
が失敗の原因だそうだ。
